I enjoy growing fruit trees and among the favorite novelties (and they taste good too!) are the apples with pink or red flesh! They can be made into PINK apple sauce. They are no more difficult to grow than an ordinary apple, but have the qonderful quality of amazing fruit flesh color. Some favorites here are Pink Pearl, Hidden Rose, Firecracker, Scarlet Surprise. An added bonus is their blossom color, reminiscent of crabapples, these have reddish to deep pink blossoms. Harvest season varies with the variety. Some are summer apples, others ripen in fall. Any ordinary fruit tree culture will give you a bountiful harvest. Come to see them at the nursery.
